For the past years Oliver Sieber has been exploring youth cultures in his photographic series. Sieber is interested in young people’s quest for individuality and identity, and in subcultures that rebel against traditional values. For the series ‘J_Subs’ he photographed young people dressed up in rock ‘n roll and punk outfits, after they visited concerts in Osaka and Tokyo. In 2006.

Böhm/Kobayashi is a publishing project by artists Katja Stuke and Oliver Sieber. Since
1999, they have published the periodical Böhm, in which they always juxtapose their own photographs. Each issue of this quarterly photographic magazine is conceived as an individual project, often organized around a central theme. Since 2008, they have also published books, editions, and other printed matter, featuring their own work and the work of other artists.
